    I don’t know if you can stop a background CSS file from distorting and blurring on dynamic resize. I just make my backgrounds huge, optimized jpg, so it looks decent in most screens. And stays crispy.

    Not sure I like the clear gif idea, why not use an hx element with the text and then hide it with CSS? it would be semantic and still render in agents like screen readers…

    yeah but i also need to set the height….and if i make image in fireworks for example ….how big do i need to make it …because if i make it 800X600 on 1680 or 1920X1080 i think it will look streched and ugly ….anyway thx and i will google that shit :) thx again
