Check this video out at Hi-Res here: www.tutvid.com So many Web 2.0 style sites, matter of fact many sites in general have these backgrounds that seems to go on forever but have one unique end and seem to fade off to an image or color that appears to go on forever. This is simply an illusion and really can be done very easily with CSS and a 1px wide image! We will start with a blank Photoshop doc and first create our background then bring it into Dreamweaver and make our background using CSS …

I am very new to this and am finding it very helpful. I already have been able to accomplish a few things in a short time that I had been struggling with for several days! For a 60 year old guy that’s amazing! Thanks!

Here’s a trick, take out a pen and paper, take notes on everything he does and put all of that in your little file cabinet in your desk; and BAM. You will be creating an entire library of hand written tutorials with access to at anytime!
You will be able to arrange this to put Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, and other software tutorials right next to you. And you know what? Writting all of this stuff down once actually pushes you to remember, it’s nearly as effective as taking a course for it!

No, I think this guy is perfect for tutorials. Good voice preventing you from falling asleep and he’s got that little thing that keeps you interested.
The pace is PERFECT. I doubt anyone is able to follow the video live without having a dual-monitor setup and be quick, but taking notes while he is doing this, and using the pause and rewind functions is the way to do it.
I like how he makes his videos short and interesting.
